Three piece shampoo bar mold press trays are an alternative to the more expensive press designs. This listing includes 3 pieces-(2) shampoo bar mold trays that create 6 shampoo or conditioner bars at a time & (1) body. The three piece design allows you to make a bar from 1" to 2" in height.

• Available to be 3D Printed with PLA.
PLA (polylactic acid) is a basic plastic. PLA is heat sensitive, must be hand washed in cool water, cannot soak in any liquids, and may need to be sanded smooth over time. You may need to add a mold release product (cyclomethicone, isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, etc) to the mold to help cleanly remove your mixture.

Professional materials are made from engineering grade materials, such as ABS, Polycarbonate, or other composites. Professional has a higher temperature resistance, can be washed in the top rack of your dishwasher on a no heat dry, is very lightweight, and should not need any additional sanding. Please note that all materials will melt/distort on a dishwasher heat dry. It is extremely rare to need to add a mold release product to cleanly remove your mixture from a Professional mold. This is a part of our Professional Series of products.
• The inner curve of the molds may need to be hand sanded, so may appear dull in order to make a smooth finish on your product. This does not alter the quality of the press.
• This is a manual, hand press and not recommended for a pneumatic/electric press.
